WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (NYSE: TMO), the world leader in serving science, today announced it has been selected as the National Children’s Study (NCS) biological and environmental sample repository partner. The study examines the effects of environmental influences on the health and development of 100,000 children across the United States, following them from before birth until age 21. The contract was awarded to the company’s Fisher BioServices business by the National Institutes of Health in conjunction with a consortium that includes the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Environmental Protection Agency.
