July 22, 2007 – In China, a derivative of firmoss has long been used to fight inflammation and fever. The traditional Chinese medicine is now thought to have neuroprotective properties as well, with applications for Alzheimer’s and epilepsy. Trials are underway in both China and the US. To shed some light on the range of Chinese biomedical companies already public, we listed all the public life science enterprises whose major operations are in China, divided according to exchange and ranked the top revenue and profit producers.
