BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Longtime correctional healthcare executive Teri Gregory has joined Corizon Health as vice president of operations for the state of Kansas, the company announced today.
Gregory joins Corizon after more than 25 years in correctional health care with the Federal Bureau of Prison, 15 years of which was in health service administration. In her most recent role, she served four years as regional health service administrator for the north central region in Kansas City, where she was responsible for health services operations for nine states, including 19 facilities and two medical centers. Gregory was recognized for her outstanding leadership with the Regional Administrator of the Year Award in the FBOP in 2017 and 2018.
At Corizon, Gregory will work directly with Senior Vice President Mike Murphy and Corizon’s partners at the Kansas Department of Corrections to ensure overall quality control, contract compliance, and excellence in all aspects of health service operations. Corizon has served the Kansas DOC, which operates a large state-wide network of eight adult correctional campuses and one for juveniles, since January of 2014.
“We are delighted to welcome Teri to Corizon and know she will be a great fit for our Kansas partners and Kansas team,” said Murphy. “Her deep health services administration knowledge, extensive multi-facility experience, and track record on implementing successful systems for compliance are huge assets to our leadership group.”
“I am excited about joining Corizon Health and am looking forward to working closely with my Kansas team and partners. I am committed to contributing to the vision and success of Corizon,” said Gregory.
