Regulators investigating a drugs trial which left six men seriously ill said the agreed protocols were followed. The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency said early findings suggest the way the trial was run did not lead to the volunteers’ reactions. It said the drug TGN1412 was given in correct doses and there was no sign of contamination or manufacturing errors.
