TAP Biosystems Hosts International Distributors’ Meeting and Award Ceremony - to Recognize Partners for their Outstanding Performance

03 July 2012 -- TAP Biosystems, a leading supplier of innovative cell culture systems and consumables for life science applications, hosted its first International Distributors’ Meeting last week, where it recognised two of its partners for their outstanding contributions throughout the year.

TAP welcomed distributors from Benelux, France, the Nordics, Russia and Singapore to its headquarters near Cambridge, UK earlier last week. They attended a number of sessions, facilitated by TAP’s senior management team and product specialists, including presentations on TAP’s new innovations in the company’s 2D and 3D cell culture product pipeline, and allowed them to exchange experiences of the challenges they face in their different marketplaces.

Two partners, LabTech (www.labtech.fr) from France and the Korean D I Biotech (www.dibiotech.com) were recognised with awards as European Distributor of the year and Asian Distributor of the year respectively, for their sales of TAP’s ambr™ bioreactor mimic systems.

Alongside ambr, TAP’s distribution partners market and support Fill-It™ automated vial filling system to their assigned regions throughout Europe and Asia.

Phillip Sefton, TAP’s Commercial Director stated: “We have in place an extensive network of partners specialising in bioreactor and cell culture products and our first international distributor meeting has been an excellent opportunity for us to recognise the tremendous work our partners do on our behalf over the year.”

Sefton added: “The sessions we have had over the two days have been very valuable for us and our distributors and they have allowed the exchange of ideas, which will help shape their promotional strategies and our future product development.”
