Tangible Science and VSP Optics Co-develop New Daily Disposable Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lens

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tangible® Science, an innovator creating a dramatically better contact lens experience for patients and eye care practices, announced today the launch of Unity® BioSync™ Contact Lenses. The product is the first daily disposable silicone hydrogel contact lens featuring a modified formula of the patented Tangible® Hydra-PEG® polymer technology, which is bonded to the surface of the lens. Co-developed by Tangible Science and VSP Optics, leaders in ophthalmic technology, Unity® BioSync™ Contact Lenses feature HydraMist™ technology and were unveiled last week at Vision Expo West.

The HydraMist™ technology featuring Tangible’s proprietary polymer was developed specifically for silicone hydrogel contact lenses. It is designed to attach to the surface of Unity® BioSync™ Contact Lenses for a full day of wear and improves lens hydration providing a durably comfortable experience for contact lens patients.
