A company that makes a robotic laboratory assistant for biotech researchers , and is named after Robin Williams’ character in the 1999 movie “Bicentennial Man,” has opened a U.S. headquarters in Copley Square.
Piero Zucchelli, CEO of the Switzerland-based company Andrew Alliance, said he plans to hire up to four sales people in the next year for the new Boston office, while the robots will continue to be assemebled in the company’s headquarters in Geneva.
