ST. PAUL, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--St. Jude Medical, Inc. (NYSE:STJ), a global medical device company, today announced that its Board of Directors declared a third quarter dividend of $0.21 per common share. This dividend amount is equal to the dividend paid during the first and second quarter of 2011 and brings the total dividend declared for the year to $0.63 per share. The dividend is payable October 31, 2011, to shareholders of record on September 30, 2011.
