AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gary Sabins has been named the president and CEO of Spinal Restoration, Inc. a privately held, venture backed medical technology company that specializes in the early intervention of chronic back pain. Spinal Restoration is focused on developing a new biologic treatment for discogenic pain, a condition which accounts for approximately 4 million patients annually that suffers from chronic low back pain. The company’s first product, the Biostat™ Disc Augmentation System, will be the subject of an IDE clinical trial expected to begin in early 2008.
