SAN DIEGO, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Sotera® Wireless today announced it will showcase its ViSi Mobile® System at Anesthesiology® 2015 taking place at the San Diego Convention Center from October 24 through October 28, 2015. The Company will exhibit at booth #2038 for the duration of the meeting.
The ViSi Mobile System is a wireless, wearable platform for continuous monitoring of patient vital signs, which is intended to enhance patient safety by enabling early detection of patient deterioration. The system supports clinical decision-making by providing clinicians with access to important data when they need it.
Increasingly, hospitals are implementing early detection systems to continuously monitor patients outside of the ICU. Successful response to rescue situations and prevention of adverse events requires early detection and is contingent upon continuous and immediate access to vital sign data.1
“In addition to offering unparalleled education, Anesthesiology® 2015 will highlight innovations that are shaping the practice of anesthesiology,” said Dr. Benjamin Kanter, chief medical officer for Sotera Wireless. “Clinicians will be able to get hands-on experience with our body-worn mobile technology and discuss how continuous vital sign monitoring can drive safety and care.”
Anesthesiology® 2015 is the world’s largest educational forum for anesthesiology attracting upwards of 15,000 attendees from around the globe to learn about the specialty’s latest science and technologies.
