About SNBL USA’s Safety Pharmacology Program
In line with International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines for Safety Pharmacology testing, SNBL USA offers an in vivo core battery of studies (CV, CNS and Respiratory). Our safety pharmacology program provides a wide range of comprehensive and integrated in vivo evaluations designed to meet the requirements for the testing of pharmaceutical compounds (eg, small molecules, biologics, vaccines, mAbs, gene therapies, etc.).
SNBL USA maintains dedicated suites for NHP telemetry studies, allowing for a variety of study designs and group configurations. We have the capability to measure the effects of NCEs and biologics on cardiovascular (eg, blood pressure, heart rate, ECGs, LVP) and respiratory parameters in telemetered NHPs. Our GLP-compliant telemetry data acquisition program is flexible and can be configured for either continuous (up to 30 hours) or intermittent (using scheduled recording) data collection. In addition, our data acquisition system includes synchronized video and physiological data capture with remote monitoring capabilities. We utilize a modified Irwin test or Functional Observation Battery (FOB) to detect putative CNS side effects in rodents and NHPs (eg, motor activity, behavior, coordination, sensory/motor reflex responses and body temperatures).
