MINNEAPOLIS, Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyline Medical (OTCQB: SKLN) has assembled a dynamic team of sales leaders to build out a larger U.S. sales force in response to increasing demand for its STREAMWAY System a revolutionary, FDA-approved system for automated, direct-to-drain medical fluid disposal.
Regional managers were recently hired to oversee sales activities in the company’s seven sales regions: the Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest and West.
“As more and more healthcare facilities seek to move away from antiquated, high-risk fluid disposal methods, we’ve seen increasing demand for our safer, more efficient and environmentally sound STREAMWAY System,” said Josh Kornberg, CEO of Skyline Medical.
“We searched long and hard to identify, recruit and hire top industry sales people who could help us meet growing demand and make STREAMWAY the new standard for waste fluid management,” he added. “These individuals bring extensive experience in capital equipment sales, as well as solid relationships with hospital decision makers in their respective regions. Their expertise and leadership will help us meet current demand, uncover new opportunities and close sales to grow the company.
“With several high profile medical trade shows beginning in March, the hiring of this high-powered sales team is timely,” Kornberg noted. “We expect to generate a substantial number of new sales opportunities by demonstrating our STREAMWAY System at the Association of PeriOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) and the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) events. Through this new, expanded sales presence we are better positioned than ever before to present our enhanced STREAMWAY at these important and influential industry trade shows,” concluded Kornberg.
