Sinovac Biotech Ltd. announced actions taken to enhance the corporate governance and management of Sinovac Biotech Co., Ltd., the main operating subsidiary of Sinovac.
BEIJING, March 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinovac Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA) (“Sinovac” or the “Company”), a leading provider of biopharmaceutical products in China, announced today actions taken to enhance the corporate governance and management of Sinovac Biotech Co., Ltd. (“Sinovac Beijing”), the main operating subsidiary of Sinovac.
Sinovac Biotech (Hong Kong) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has appointed Mr. Dawei Mao, Chairman of Zhongke Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., as a director of Sinovac Beijing. He has replaced Ms. Xiaomin Yang, the President of Sinobioway Group Co., Ltd.
Mr. Weidong Yin, Chairman, President and CEO of the Company, stated, “With the support of the board of directors of Sinovac Beijing, I will lead the team at Sinovac Beijing to continue to provide vaccines to eliminate human diseases.”
