KENILWORTH, N.J., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schering-Plough Corporation today announced that Carlos G. Dourado has been appointed vice president and general manager, Schering Canada, effective March 1, 2006, based in Montreal. Dourado will report to Francesco Granata, group vice president, EUCAN Region 1, which encompasses Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Previously, Dourado was Vice President, Operations for the EUCAN Region. He joined Schering-Plough in 1978 and has held positions in Global Marketing, U.S. Managed Care Sales as well as international assignments in Portugal, the Middle East and Africa Region, and Brazil.
Dourado earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pacific College, Fresno, California, and an M.B.A. from California State University, Fresno.
