SYLMAR, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--QPC Lasers, Inc. “QPC” (OTCBB:QPCI), a world leader in the design and manufacture of high brightness, high power semiconductor lasers for the consumer, industrial, defense, and medical markets, announced today that it has received $1.3 million in new orders for BrightLase® UltraTM Lasers for use in medical applications. These two new orders come less than a month after the launch of the BrightLase® UltraTM product line, and will be used in surgical and therapeutic applications. Shipments for the two orders commenced last month and are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2008.
