(NASDAQ:QGEN) (Frankfurt:QIA), today announced that it has filed its initial brief with the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in QIAGEN’s appeal to reinstate its patent infringement lawsuit against Third Wave Technologies, Inc. The appeal moves the case originally heard before the District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin to the Federal Circuit.
