SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., April 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Poniard Pharmaceuticals, Inc. , a biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology, today announced that the Company will present final data from two Phase 1 clinical trials of picoplatin, the Company's lead product candidate, at poster sessions during the American Association for Cancer Research 100th Annual Meeting 2009 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. The Company will present efficacy and safety data from its Phase 1 trial of picoplatin in colorectal cancer (CRC) and bioavailability data from its Phase 1 trial of an oral formulation of picoplatin.
