Pill to Repair Heart Disease is Just 5 Years Away, Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine Say Scientists

Scotsman -- SCIENTISTS hope that a pill to repair damaged hearts could be a reality in as little as five years, thanks to a major research programme involving experts in Scotland. The British Heart Foundation (BHF) has awarded £1 million to the Scottish Centre for Regenerative Medicine, based in Edinburgh, as part of the search for cures for heart failure.
