PEQLAB GmbH, the German based supplier of molecular biology products announced yesterday that it has acquired Clemens GmbH, the life sciences electronics company and manufacturer of the peqSTAR range of thermal cyclers. PEQLAB has been the exclusive distributor for Clemens’ thermal cycler PRIMUS Advanced and peqSTAR range since 2005 and this acquisition will facilitate the accelerated expansion of the peqSTAR range in addition to the launch of further new and novel instruments for molecular biology.
