For the quarter ended September 30, 2007, revenues increased 20% to $2,134,736 compared to $1,774,130 in the same period in 2006. Net loss applicable to common stockholders for the quarter was ($432,905), or ($0.03) per basic and fully diluted share, compared to net income applicable to common stockholders of $54,184, or $0.00 per basic and fully diluted share, for the same period in 2006. Net loss for the quarter ended September 2007 included a $439,208 write-off of SATIATRIM® inventory recorded in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”) and $88,449 of marketing expenses for SATIATRIM. Without these expenses, the Company would have recorded net income (non-GAAP measure) of $94,752, or $0.01 per share basic and diluted, for the quarter ended September 30, 2007.
