MALVERN, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Orthovita, Inc. (NASDAQ: VITA), a spine and orthopedic biosurgery company, reported financial results for the three and six months ended June 30, 2007. Product sales for the three months ended June 30, 2007 increased 33% to $14,852,000 as compared to $11,180,000 for the same period in 2006. Product sales for the six months ended June 30, 2007 increased 27% to $28,003,000, as compared to $21,997,000 for the same period in 2006. Excluding sales of our VITOMATRIX™ dental scaffold, which is not sold by our sales and distribution channel, and our former ENDOSKELETON product, product sales for the three and six months ended June 30, 2007 increased 29% and 28%, respectively, as compared to the same periods in 2006.
