U.K.-based noodle shop Wagamama has set a May 2010 opening date for its Penn Quarter location. The first location in the area, Wagamama is slated for 418 7th St. NW, the former location of an Olsson’s bookstore. Wagamama had announced plans in early 2008 to open up a location in the neighborhood, but has remained close-lipped on the details.
