Nextrials, Inc.’ Prism Adds Real-Time Ad-Hoc Reporting Feature For BioPharma And Medical Device Researchers

SAN RAMON, CA--(Marketwired - May 27, 2015) - Nextrials, Inc., a leader in clinical research software and services, today announced that its award-winning Prism® data capture and clinical trial management platform has added real-time data access to its ad-hoc reporting tool. This gives biotech, pharmaceutical and medical device researchers more flexibility for delivering and sharing critical information outside of standard formats using up-to-date data, helping meet the demands for faster and more accurate reports and analysis.

Prism’s ad-hoc tool had previously used data delivered via once-daily reports. With the new real-time reporting feature, users can access current data at any time, run a report in whatever format the user has designed and use that information to quickly pivot if the results show movement in an unexpected direction.

“Sponsors consistently look for ways to safely shorten the drug development timeline in order to reduce costs,” said Nextrials CEO James Rogers. “They had been asking for access to real-time data for ad-hoc reports. Since we are a customer-driven company and understand the need for current data to steer strategic decisions, it made perfect sense for Nextrials to invest in building out this real-time reporting feature.”

The new real-time ad-hoc reporting feature is tightly integrated within Prism (no separate log-ins are required) and is just one of the many sophisticated functionalities offered within the clinical trial management and electronic data capture platform.

Prism highlights include:

  • an intuitive user interface
  • preview panes to help users visualize reports in progress
  • broad, interactive graphical tools
  • enhanced export capabilities
  • concomitant medication and adverse event coding data integration

Visitors to the Drug Information Association’s 51st Annual Meeting, being held June 14-18 in Washington, DC, can learn more about Nextrials’ Prism and the real-time ad-hoc reporting tool in booth 2717.
