CoorsTek Medical officially launched as a company earlier this month, It came about one year after CoorsTek — a Golden-based ceramics and advanced-materials company that develops products for industries as diverse as defense, energy and health care — integrated IMDS, a Fort Worth, Texas-based medical-device company it purchased in 2013, with C5 Medical Werks of Grand Junction, which the family had owned.
