MedPage Today -- NASHVILLE, Tenn., Feb. 2 -- ICU patients spent less time on a ventilator, had fewer episodes of delirium, and had less hypertension and tachycardia when sedated with dexmedetomidine (Precedex) than with midazolam, a multicenter trial showed.
