Tengion Inc., an East Norriton start-up developing regenerated human organs, said today it will enroll 10 adults with defective bladders due to spinal cord injuries in a clinical trial to study its autologous neo-bladders.The midstage Phase 2 study of the technology, which uses the patient’s own cells to grow new bladders, will be conducted at six medical centers, including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
