MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- A nationally recognized and respected leader in the home health and hospice industry, Susan Freeman has joined St. Croix Hospice in the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. "With more than 33 years of experience in the post-acute arena, and more than 20 years in hospice, Susan brings tremendous skill and leadership to St. Croix Hospice," said St. Croix Hospice CEO Heath Bartness. "As an innovator in the arena of healthcare technology, Susan will lead our mission to deliver the highest quality hospice care to all those we serve." Susan's expertise led her to become a frequent speaker at both local and national conferences. Susan most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for a large integrated home health and hospice provider in the southern United States where she also served on the Executive Board for the Alabama Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
