SHENZHEN, China, Oct. 25, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia-FirstCall/ -- Mindray Medical International Limited (NYSE: MR), a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of medical devices worldwide, announced today that it will attend the 66th China International Medical Equipment Fair (“CMEF”) in Fuzhou, Chinabetween October 31 and November 3, 2011.
Mindray will exhibit more than 90 products from its three primary business segments: patient monitoring and life support products, in-vitro diagnostic products, and medical imaging systems. The company will also demonstrate three new products that were recently developed including:
- The BeneView T1 Mobile Monitoring Solution
- The new iPM Series Patient Monitor
- The iMEC Series Patient Monitor
The BeneView T1 A Compact and Lightweight Mobile Patient Monitoring Solution
Beneview T1 is both a compact multi-parameter module and a lightweight transport monitor. It is compatible with all Beneview bedside patient monitors and supports all standard parameters. The T1 is specially designed to follow the patient throughout different points of care, allowing for mobile patient monitoring. Based on its seamless data transferring capability, the T1 guarantees the continuity of monitoring information. When connected wirelessly to a central monitoring system, all information from the T1 can be viewed from a nurse station or any bedside monitor in the network.
The new iPM Series A Flexible Modular Patient Monitoring Solution
The iPM is a series of modular patient monitors with a touch screen. Its compact and functional design makes it suitable for both acute and sub-acute care. Based on a plug-and-play modular structure, its monitoring functions can be quickly adjusted according to specific clinical requirements. An intuitive interface with configurable user modes and intelligent, easy to use functions helps save time and improves overall patient care. Thanks to its wired and wireless network connections with Mindray’s central monitoring system, all patient data from an iPM can be viewed conveniently from a nurse station or any bedside monitor in the network.
The iMEC Series An Efficient Green Patient Monitoring Solution
The iMEC is a series of innovative patient monitors with “green” credentials -- it reduces the ecological footprint in a hospital and contributes to a sustainable care environment. Based on its optimized hardware design, iMEC uses 50% less power compared to conventional patient monitors. This allows for an improved battery life and a fanless design, providing cleaner and quieter performance. With its portable design, touch screen, flexible network capabilities as well as accurate monitoring functions, the iMEC is an ideal choice for emergency rooms, post-anesthesia care units, general wards and outpatient areas.
“We are delighted to participate in this high-profile conference again,” said Mr. Li Xiting, Mindray’s president and co-chief executive officer. “The CMEF has always been a great venue for us to showcase our exciting products such as the V series patient monitor system and the BC 6800 five-part hematology analyzer that we demonstrated in the past.
