Millipore Corporation Integrates Salesforce SFA With Oracle On-Premise Applications Using Salesforce.com AppExchange Platform For 500 Users Worldwide

SAN FRANCISCO, April 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Salesforce.com , the technology and market leader in on-demand customer relationship management (CRM), today announced that Millipore , a leading provider of products and services that improve productivity in the laboratory and in biopharmaceutical manufacturing, has implemented Salesforce SFA and is integrating data from its Oracle ERP applications directly into Salesforce SFA, in order to provide its global users fast and easy access to lead and customer information.

Using the AppExchange platform, Millipore has built a custom solution to retrieve data from its Oracle on premise application and automatically assign the information by division to the appropriate sales representative, and then publish the data via Salesforce SFA. In addition to sales, Millipore’s technical service groups use the information for service and support as they assist customers with troubleshooting or recommend additional products that might be of interest.
