Microvisk Technologies Inks $9.5 Million

PEHUB -- Microvisk Technologies, which develops a hand-held system to monitor blood clotting in patients using the drug Warfarin, has raised 6 million pounds ($9.5 million) in a third round of financing. The round included participation from Porton Capital, Oxford Technology Management, Boston-based New Hill, Midven, the Rainbow Seed Fund and Finance Wales. UK-based Microvisk is a spin-out of Science and Technology Facilities Council.
