Tokyo (JCN) Nov 1, 2005- German pharmaceutical and chemical company Merck KGaA has announced a reorganization plan for its pharmaceutical business in Japan. Specifically, the company will consolidate the ethicals division of its Japanese subsidiary Merck Ltd. and its Japanese generic pharmaceutical subsidiary Merck Hoei and create a new company, Merck Pharma Ltd., in April 2006.
