MedPro Imaging Adds 30-year Imaging Industry Veteran James Carr as Director of Service & Operations

WAUKESHA, Wis., Jan. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- MedPro Imaging, a premium provider of ultrasound solutions, today announced that diagnostic imaging industry veteran James (Jim) Carr has joined as Director of Service and Operations.

Carr’s 30 year career in diagnostic imaging has been highlighted by ever increasingly responsible roles within field service management, operations and quality assurance with such notable ultrasound companies as Unirad, Johnson and Johnson Ultrasound, Acuson Corporation and Sonora Medical Systems. Prior to joining MedPro, he led the development and growth of Sonora Medical Systems as Senior VP of Operations and Quality. Carr has led implementations of lean manufacturing and ISO 9001/13485 at Acuson and Sonora.

During his 13 years at Acuson, Carr served as the eastern region service manager before moving to the headquarters in Mountain View, Calif., to be the quality assurance manager. After that, he led technical services and support and was a project manager for the development of Sequoia, then was trained and served as a SAP project manager for Acuson’s implementation. He has an ASEE degree and extensive training and experience in the disciplines of manufacturing, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, engineering and field service.

As Director of Service and Operations, Carr will be responsible for day to day operations for the company’s state-of-the-art ultrasound transducer repair facility in Longmont, Colo and the system service group.
