Mediware Releases HCLL(TM) Donor for FDA 510(K) Review

LENEXA, Kan., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mediware Information Systems, Inc. , a known leader in healthcare delivery and patient safety software management solutions, announced today that it has submitted its next generation donor management system, HCLL(TM) Donor, to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for 510(k) clearance.

HCLL(TM) Donor, when available, will continue the company’s leading position in the hospital donor services market by providing the following management features and support including:

 * A common look and feel with the advanced HCLL(TM) Transfusion system, providing a rich graphical “heads up” display of real-time safety- critical and operational information. * Real-time integration with the advanced HCLL(TM) Transfusion system, seamlessly tying together the donor and transfusion service centers within a healthcare enterprise. * A common technology architecture with the advanced HCLL(TM) Transfusion system, providing an N-Tier application that is deployable in Client/Server or Thin-Client platform configurations. * Full support of Industry bar code standards including ISBT 128 and CODABAR.
