Promex, a medical device developer and manufacturer specializing in biopsy needles, will more than double its building from 14,700 square feet to more than 35,000 square feet. The expansion will add about 40 jobs, with yearly salaries totaling more than $1.4 million. Promex received approval Monday night (July 23) from the Franklin City Council for tax-exempt financing bonds for the project.
