A photoscreening program in Iowa using trained lay volunteers in cooperation with a dedicated coordinator and professional interpretation of photographs screened children at a cost of $8.89 per child, Susannah Q. Longmuir, MD, of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, and colleagues found.
