Featured at the booth will be the Model TTPX, a versatile cryogenic micro-manipulated probe station used for non-destructive testing of devices on full and partial wafers up to 51 mm (2 in) in diameter. The TTPX measures electrical, electro-optical, parametric, high Z, DC, RF, and microwave properties of materials and test devices. Nanoscale electronics, quantum wires and dots, and semiconductors are typical materials measured in a TTPX. A wide selection of probes, cables, sample holders, and options makes it possible to configure the TTPX to meet specific measurement applications.
The standard TTPX operates over a temperature range of 4.2 K to 475 K, and available low and high temperature options extend the range from as low as 3.2K to a high of 675 K. The TTPX is user-configured with up to six ultra-stable micro-manipulated stages, each providing precise 3-axis control of the probe position to accurately land the probe tip on the device features. For increased versatility, additional TTPX options include vibration isolation systems, LN2 Dewar kit, higher magnification microscope, vacuum turbo pumping system, fiber optic probe arm modification, and optical access sample holders.
Lake Shore’s product experts will be at the show to answer questions and to discuss the features and benefits of Lake Shore’s probe stations, including the recently introduced Model CRX-VF and Model CRX-EM-HF cryogen-free probe stations. These two new platforms add vertical and horizontal field to Lake Shore’s growing family of closed cycle refrigerator (CCR) probe stations.
Lake Shore has ten distinct probe station models, including four cryogen-free cryogenic probe stations and six cryogenic models. Models are available to meet a variety of parameters, including magnet field, maximum number of probe arms, standard temperature range, high and low temperature options, maximum sample size, vacuum, and sample stage rotation. Lake Shore will also be highlighting the new lower-cost cryogen-free probe station, the Model CRX-6.5K.
