Pfizer staff in County Kildare, Ireland, are returning to work on a contract basis after having been made redundant, reported the Leinster Leader. The company, which operated as Wyeth prior to being being bought by Pfizer, operates the largest pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in the county and is in the process of a job cutting programme, announced two years ago. Company representative Karen O’Keeffe said that people are exiting the company as part of the programme of redundancies announced in 2010.
