May 27, 2008 -- Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corporation (OTCBB: KWBT) has established a 70-30 joint venture in China with Hebei Huaxing Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. to develop AF-01 as a veterinary preventative for avian flu and other viral diseases. The new JV will be called Hebei Kiwa Huaxing Bio-Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd.
