SAN ANTONIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI): Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (NYSE: KCI) today reported second quarter 2009 total revenue of $491.3 million, an increase of 6% from the second quarter of 2008. Total revenue for the first half of 2009 was $961.4 million, a 9% increase from the prior-year period. Foreign currency exchange movements negatively impacted total revenue for the second quarter and first six months of 2009 by 4% compared to the corresponding periods of the prior year.
