July 6, 2007 – Outsourcing powerhouse WuXi PharmaTech is rumored to be on the verge of announcing its IPO. The Shanghai-based company has been a huge success story right from the outset of its 2001 startup, now boasting 1,550 scientific staff members and over 2,000 employees overall.
