InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Medical Dressing (IPL-571)

She developed the CIRCULAR BANDAGE FOR ALL MEDICAL TUBING to remain securely in place around the site of a tube-insertion point. The bandage stops leakage to keep skin and clothing clean.

PITTSBURGH, /PRNewswire/ -- “I had a feeding tube for 5 years, and the square bandages I used always fell off, which caused problems,” said an inventor from Boswell, Ind. “I cut the square bandages into circles, and then they did not fall off. My surgeon noticed this and encouraged me to patent my design.”

She developed the CIRCULAR BANDAGE FOR ALL MEDICAL TUBING to remain securely in place around the site of a tube-insertion point. The bandage stops leakage to keep skin and clothing clean. This prevents stains and the need to do laundry as often. The accessory eliminates odors and discomfort. It also saves the individual from potential embarrassment. Additionally, the invention keeps skin from getting irritated.

The original design was submitted to the Indianapolis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
