In One Type of Cancer, Heavier Men May Live Longer, Washington University School of Medicine Study

Extra pounds may not be good for your health in general, but heavy men appear more likely to survive a particular form of immune system cancer, a new study finds. The cancer in question is an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma called diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Non-Hodgkin lymphomas include a large group of cancers that affect the lymphatic system, a part of the immune system.
