EconomicTimes -- A cut in corporate travel, both domestic and international, could likely result in one of the worst quarters for the hotel industry, as most hotels had to slash rates to spur demand. Occupancies in hotels are down by more than 30% in all major cities, such as Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon and Hyderabad during April and May, said industry executives and people connected with the travel industry.
