The month-long campaign culminates on “Clear the Shelters Day” Saturday, August 18 with shelters in over 70 markets across the U.S. and Puerto Rico taking part. More than 150,000 pets have been adopted through NBC and Telemundo owned stations’ Clear the Shelters™ campaign since 2015. The campaign returns this year with shelters either reducing or waiving adoption fees to help thousands more pets find their new homes.

As part of the company’s sponsorship of NBC and Telemundo owned stations’ Clear the Shelters™ 2018 campaign, Hill’s will not only encourage pet adoption but will also be providing new pet parents with a few tools to help get their homes pet-ready. Pet food samples, coupons, pet-parenting tips and other supplies will be available at select shelters on “Clear the Shelters Day” August 18, to help pet parents transition their new family member into their home.
