HeartWare Reports Fourth Quarter Revenues of $12.2 Million; Full Year 2009 Revenues of $24.2 Million

(Nasdaq: HTWR; ASX: HIN), a leading innovator of less invasive, miniaturized circulatory support technologies that are revolutionizing the treatment of advanced heart failure, today announced revenues of $12.2 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2009. This compares to $7.5 million in revenues for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. For the 2009 fiscal year, the Company reported $24.2 million in revenues, compared with $332,000 in 2008.
