HERNDON, Va., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Focus Diagnostics announces it has sold its interest in Focus Bio-Inova, a pharmaceutical testing business, to Eurofins Scientific, a global leader in bio-analysis, in a transaction that was completed on June 15, 2006. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
On May 19, 2006, Quest Diagnostics Incorporated announced it had agreed to acquire Focus Diagnostics in a transaction which is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2006. Focus Bio-Inova was excluded from that transaction.
Wachovia Securities and Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. were advisors to Focus Diagnostics on the sale of Focus Bio-Inova.
