Oct 4 (Reuters) - Synthes Inc (SYST.VX) and one of its units agreed to plead guilty and pay almost $23.7 million to settle charges related to conduct of a clinical trial for a bone cement product without approval from U.S. authorities, the Justice Department said on Monday.
