Exact Sciences Corp. (Nasdaq: EXAS) today announced that its board of directors has appointed Kevin T. Conroy, the company’s president and chief executive, as chairman of the board. David A. Thompson, a director of the company since 2010, will serve as lead independent director. Earlier in the week, James P. Connelly, the company’s chairman since 2010, resigned from the board for personal reasons.
