HERCULES, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Eureka Genomics (EG) has launched a custom service for the detection of a moderate number of markers in a large sample number of samples; a low cost, low density marker assay (LDMA). This platform addresses the gap between traditional array technologies and multiplex PCR and is designed for the customized detection of hundreds of SNPs in thousands of samples using a single lane of an Illumina next generation sequencer. Instead of making large amounts of data on small numbers of sample, LDMA makes very focused data on a large number of samples.
