Strategic hires to its senior leadership team include former AWS executives to oversee product and engineering strategy

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Domino Data Lab, provider of the leading open enterprise data science management platform trusted by over 20% of the Fortune 100, today announced four additions to its senior leadership team. These leaders include Chris Dury as SVP of product, Joseph Rozenfeld as SVP of engineering, Jason McClelland as chief marketing officer and John Brunn as chief information security officer amid broad expansion across the company. Today’s announcement continues a period of significant growth for the company following its latest funding round of $43M in June 2020 and including the launch of Domino Model Monitoring (DMM), and enhancements to the Domino platform (4.3) in September.

Domino offers a data science management platform that centralizes predictive analytics and machine learning (ML) research and development based on an open ecosystem that lets data scientists choose their preferred tools and algorithms while reducing the burden on IT. Its growing customer roster includes enterprises such as Dell Technologies, Allstate, VMware, and Bristol-Myers Squibb.

Domino’s leadership in data science management stems from its ability to deliver enterprise-grade security, control, reliability, and observability in a central platform -- helping Fortune 100 companies confidently manage and scale their research operations.

Chris Dury, who joins as SVP of product, will oversee product strategy, design and management at Domino and continue to grow the product team. Chris was previously a GM at AWS, where he led the businesses and teams for three AWS cloud services. Dury has also founded, managed, and advised several startups, including Getjar, Ooma, Tempo.ai and Trust Identity.

Joseph Rozenfeld joins as SVP of engineering, bringing over 25 years of software development and engineering management experience to Domino, including senior leadership positions at Captora, Tibco and Jaspersoft. Most recently, he served as GM at AWS for Amazon Honeycode, a low-code/no-code application development platform launched earlier this year. In his new role at Domino, he will lead technical strategy and oversee all aspects of platform and product engineering.

John Brunn, Domino’s new chief information security officer, was most recently head of security at CMD. He has also held information security architect and senior security management positions at Lookout, Hotwire, Expedia and Walmart.com.

Jason McClelland, Domino’s new chief marketing officer, will oversee the company’s global marketing strategy. Previously, he was CMO at Heroku, a Salesforce acquisition, and spent 15 years at Adobe in a variety of senior roles across marketing, sales and ecommerce.

“Domino’s data science platform is powered by a strong team behind the scenes. Their dedication is at the core of everything we do,” said Nick Elprin, co-founder and CEO at Domino Data Lab. “I’m thrilled to have Chris, Joseph, John and Jason onboard at Domino. They are all incredibly well-respected experts in their fields, and their collective knowledge will be a tremendous asset to the company as we navigate our next phase of growth.”
